Job Summary:
As a Day Shift Server at Hwy 55 , you will be the face of our diner, providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring they feel welcome and valued. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and create a fun and friendly dining environment that reflects our retro theme. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations when needed.
- Serve food and beverages, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards.
- Prepare and refill drinks throughout the meal and accommodate special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and utensils.
- Handle cash registers, process payments, and provide receipts to customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow health and safety regulations and maintain food safety standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning duties.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service and atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
